Spotlight Speaker:
Lynn Lamoureux - Sunland Acres

Keynote Speaker:
Hillery Shephard - CSX Transportation - Customer Relations is a mindset how to develop it!

Hillery Shephard is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she received her BS Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. After graduation she started her career with FACS Group (Macy’s customer service center) in their Executive Development Program. As part of the program she worked in HR and as a call center manager. This opportunity helped her see how she could impact people’s lives. A combination of her strong performance and customer recognition led to her being awarded Manager of the Year.

After four years, she left Macy’s to be closer to her family and start a new career with CSX Transportation. She has been with CSX for almost 11 years and each of her positions has an emphasis on service. She developed and implemented the Internship and Co-op Program, served as an HR Generalist, oversaw the Operations Management Trainee Programs, and managed a team in the Customer Service Department. For the past two years, she has served as the Director of the Technology Service Desk. She has had a variety of roles, but they have all been focused on people. She takes pride in coaching and development and has served as a mentor to a number of employees along the way. Many years ago she learned about the concept of creating a low-effort customer experience and that has become the mantra she lives by.

On a personal note, she is active with her church and enjoys teaching a four year old Sunday school class. She spends a lot of time with her friends and family, especially her husband and their three year old son.
