  Jeannie Fredrick

Jeannie Fredrick’s parents encouraged her to read by allowing her to stay up past bedtime, albeit reading in bed. She was hooked. Her first favorites were Nancy Drew and the Boxcar Children and then later found author Lawrence Sanders and quickly fell in love with his characters, the stodgy Edward X. Delaney and Archy McNally.

She has been published in Grit, Florida Retirement Lifestyles, Daytona News Journal, Palatka Daily News and was the publisher at the Crescent City Courier Journal.

Following the January dinner meeting our members will have the opportunity to purchase Jeannie’s new book, Abruptly Alone: A Widow's Memoir.
